PLAN # 1: THE RAW DETOX DIET

WHAT IS THE RAW DETOX DIET?
It is a diet based exclusively on fresh organic fruits and vegetables, sprouts and sea vegetables to the exclusion of nuts, grains, starch, fish and meat. It is a diet high in nutrients and low in calories. It is designed to support the body to eliminate accumulated waste from the byproduct of digestion or toxins such as plastics, pesticides and any chemicals not belonging to the body.

HOW IS THE PROGRAM WORKING?
You sign up with us for the 7 days and everyday you pick up a box containing your 3 meals and snacks for the day. You should not eat anything else but what is provided. You may pick it up in 3 different locations

WHO IS IT FOR?
It is for everyone seeking a healthier life style. People who are on medications or other drugs or people who are dealing with a debilitating illness will benefit from some form of medical nutrition but they need a different program and should consult with our doctor prior to engaging in this raw detox diet.

HOW IS THE DIET WORKING?
The raw fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals that the body needs to process waste and the low calorie component forces the body to use its fatty reserves. Most toxins are fat-soluble and are stored in the fat cells of the body. As the fat cells are broken down to be used for energy they release their content - including toxins. Then toxins are taken up by the blood stream for elimination by the liver and the kidneys

WILL I GET INTO A HEALING CRISIS?
If you are very toxic you may get into a healing crisis. What is too toxic? You are toxic if you are very overweight, if you have been drinking alcohol or sodas or eating a lot of white sugar or a lot of processed food. In these cases you may benefit from a different diet for a while containing seeds and nuts, and possibly supplements.

WILL I LOSE WEIGHT OR GAIN WEIGHT?
People who need to lose weight will most likely lose weight those who need to gain weight may gain weight over time on a similar diet

WILL I BE HUNGRY?
No, you will not be hungry. You may eat as much as you want and you can snack in between meals, of course on the raw delicious food you have received from us

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR THE RAW FOOD DETOX DIET?
You need to clean your kitchen from all the processed foods, (canned, bottled or prepackaged) leftovers, and finish eating your fresh food or give it away prior to starting the program to avoid temptation to eat your own food. Prepare your body a week in advance by eliminating meat, dairy and processed foods from your diet. This will make the transition to eating all raw foods a bit easier.

WHAT DO I DO AFTER THE RAW DETOX?
Depending on where you are at you may want to do another week of raw food, or a week of juicing, or you may do the diet plan #3: The Raw rebuilding. We suggest that you consult with our doctor, who will recommend the best follow up for your 7-day raw detox diet.

HOW DO I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROCESSED FOOD AND RAW LIVING FOOD?
Most foods that have not been processed in any way, shape or form are raw and living foods (until cooked). Processed foods (canned, bottled or prepackaged) are most often adulterated, (changed from their original state) through heating, additives, preservatives, colorings, salt, and sugar.

WHY EAT ALL ORGANIC?

Organic fruits and vegetables are grown in a rich soil that contains a large variety of minerals and micronutrients.
Non-organic vegetables grow in a soil where only 3 nutrients are used- nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. In addition chemical pesticides are used in conventional agriculture while organic farming uses other ways to repel insects such as rotating crops, herbal insecticides or plants that repel insects. Chemicals used in agriculture have been found to be carcinogenic, associated with high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and obesity. Some fruits and vegetables grown commercially may be genetically engineered (Genetically Modified Organism - GMO) and it is too soon to know the results of these GMO's on our health.

WHY EAT ALL RAW?
  1. Raw foods are better quality; therefore you eat less to satisfy your nutritional needs. The heat of cooking depletes vitamins, damages proteins and fats, and destroys enzymes which benefit digestion. As your percentage of raw foods increases you feel satisfied and have more energy on smaller meals because raw food has the best balance of water, nutrients, and fiber to meet your body's needs.
  2. Raw foods have more flavor than cooked foods so there is no need to add salt, sugar, spices, or other condiments that can irritate your digestion system or over stimulate other organs.
  3. Raw foods take very little preparation so you spend less time in the kitchen. Even a child of 5 or 6 can prepare most items for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This gives children a sense of self-esteem and independence, not to mention the break it gives Mom or Dad.
  4. When you are eating raw there's little chance of burns, unless you're in the middle of a forest fire or out in the sun too long. Just think! No burns to tongues, the roof of your mouth, or fingers, and many fewer house fires.
  5. Cleaning up after a raw meal is a snap. No baked-on oils or crusty messes. And any inedible parts go directly to the compost pile.
  6. Eating a diet of raw foods can reverse or stop the advance of many chronic diseases, including heart disease and cancer. Remember, cooking creates free radicals, which are the major cause of cancer. When you lower the number of free radicals your cells are bombarded with, you lower your risk of cancer.
  7. A raw food diet can protect you from acute diseases such as colds, flu, measles, etc. Raw foods maintain a healthy body and a healthy body will not become diseased.
  8. As long as you combine raw food properly according to the rules of Natural Hygiene, you will soon reach a level where you no longer suffer from heartburn, gas, indigestion or constipation.
  9. It is environmentally sound. With humanity on a diet of raw foods, the food industry would close up shop and take up organic gardening. This would save us enormous amounts of natural resources used to produce power for these industries. Nuclear power would be clearly unnecessary. And think of how many trees and oil reserves could be saved without the need for the paper and plastics used in packaging our processed foods. There would also be less carbon dioxide released in to the atmosphere when all the cooking stopped and more oxygen produced from all the new orchards and gardens, thus helping to reverse the Greenhouse Effect.
  10. Eating raw saves you money on food, vitamins, pots and pans, appliances, doctor bills, drugs, and health insurance.
